实 力 的 体 现：

1、厚德书院，专业课程体系，教授级的教师团队和强大的升学指导团队，从高一开始，就根据学生不同的特点、兴趣以及未来发展方向，给予全方位的跟踪辅导支持，按照不同学生，不同学科的强弱、进度，进行选课、分层教学。

2、专业的方法，学术化的校园文化以及对成功的定义和态度，使厚德的学生，绝不是花费三年时间在准备Alevel、AP等“洋高考”，而是通过三年个人学习计划，实现学术生涯规划。

高一：着重于过渡，适应由传统应试初中向自主学习、提升学习能力的改变，迅速提高自我管理、时间管理、阅读能力和全面学习能力，同时准备并完成国家对于高中毕业的要求，获得中国高中毕业文凭。

高二：巴德青年大学课程和厚德校本课程，强度和难度都开始和国外名牌高中和大学一致。学生从高中起，开始逐渐适应国外大学的学习方式、要求和文化。

厚德书院优秀学生高二时有机会选择厚德书院巴德青年大学项目。巴德学院创办了40多年的青年大学课程是让为优秀的高二高三学生，提前开始大学课程，在厚德书院，巴德青年大学项目，是最好的分层教学的体现。并且，巴德青年大学体系的课程，既不是远程教学，也不是网络课程更不是A level、AP或IB课程培训，而是真正的每天跟大学教授一起上课、讨论，与国外的课堂一样，开始国外大学的学习模式和正规课程。

高中毕业的时候，学生同时获得中国高中毕业文凭和美国两年正规、有认证的大学学分。

虽然厚德书院成立仅仅短短三年，但国外各名牌大学对厚德书院已经投以大量关注和认可，这种认可来源于：

1、何道明校长是整个深圳国际体系的创始人，开创了深圳第一批美国前十名大学的录取先河，使深圳这座城市的名字，深圳学子的名字第一次在美国各顶尖大学里崭露头角，何道明的名字也因此，同深圳、同国际教育紧紧连系在一起，被美国甚至全球所有著名大学的校长及招生办熟知和认可。

2、除了对何校长个人的学术专业的认可、人品信誉的高度信任。从2006年开始，十几年来，从深中第一批何校长亲自培养、推荐到美国前十名及常春藤名校的学生，到之后每年几十个、上百个优秀学生，从未让美国的大学失望过。

目前越来越多通过考试培训取得高分勉强进入名校的孩子，其实学习能力、自我管理能力和综合素养跟初中阶段并没有什么明显区别，甚至经历了三年高强度、封闭的压抑的各种考试培训，心理健康和人格建立以及世界观和价值观的建立都非常不健全，这种状态，即使经过各种包装，进入到理想的大学，真正大学的学习和生活的过程，也是非常痛苦甚至会半路夭折的。

3、巴德体系-高起点

巴德学院是有160年历史的美国著名高校。1928年，学校成为哥伦比亚大学的一个本科生学院。1934年，学校正式更名为巴德学院，以纪念创始人约翰·巴德。

20世纪60年代，在Reamer Kline校长的带领下，巴德学院进入快速发展阶段。学校扩充了校舍、改善了硬件设施，同时极大地丰富了课程选择，尤其是理科及视觉艺术方面的课程。

1982年，这是巴德发展史上另一个重要的时刻。天才学者Leon Botstein出任第十四任校长（为何叫做天才学者，猜猜他当校长时多少岁吧？答对有奖），正式将“改善生活质量、建设更好的社会”作为学校的发展纲要（to improve the quality of life—and to build a better society）。

为了让已经具备大学学习水平的高中生提前开始大学一年级二年级的课程（分层教学的最好体现），早在40年前，巴德学院创办了巴德青年大学，并跟7所美国本土公立学校合作青年大学项目。

青年大学的学生从高二开始，上课时的身份已经是正式全日制本科的学生，而下课后，他跟他们的同龄人还在同一个环境下成长。

这种分层教学模式，成功避免了所有大学少年班的孩子进入社会以后，无法容忍同龄人生活的障碍和副作用。所有课程，全部由大学教授亲自授课。学生毕业的时候有两年的大学学分。这些学分也是被认证的，被大部分大学认可承认的。

巴德学院第一次在跟美国本土外的学校合作办青年大学就是厚德书院。

这是美国著名大学对厚德书院的一种认可。从某种层面来说，厚德书院的学生，申请国外大学时，起点就已经比其它学校的高中生要高了。

其它学校的学生，无论他们选择AP、IB还是A level体系，毕竟那些都只是高中课程，甚至是“洋高考”培训，他们还只是停留在高中生的起点，而厚德书院巴德青年大学的学生，已经是大学生的起点，并且是美国前50名大学的大学生。

●同年，Holder校长举办了第一次深圳CIS美国名校展览。同时举办了布朗大学，宾夕法尼亚大学，芝加哥大学，杜克大学 (Duke University)，达特茅斯大学 (Dartmouth University)，西北大学第一次在深圳的招生说明会。深圳这座广东城市，第一次跃入美国诸位著名大学的注意范围。

●同年，中国第一批（七所）中国公立高中跟美国大学委员会开设AP课程，其中6所在上海，一所就是深圳中学，而且之所以开设AP课程，是美国大学委员会（College Board）主动要求提供免费AP课程给深圳中学。
